Latest News : Nigeria draw with Benin Republic (1-1)

Nigeria hold Benin Republic to a 1-1 draw at the stadium in Abijan. Nigeria Super Eagles could not beat republic at the Abijan stadium,but a draw was still enough to make them qualify for the African Cup of Nation's

In the first half it seemed as if Benin Republic will defeat Nigeria when Mohammed Tijani put the cheetahs of Benin Republic at 1-0.
During the second half The super Eagles gained more composure which led to Victor oshimen heading the ball at the back of the net from Moses Simon's cross


The game ended in the draw and the Super Eagles booked a spot at the AFCON 2025 which will be taking place at  Morocco.
The super eagles of Nigeria will play Rwanda at the Gods will Akpabio International stadium on Monday 18th of November.
