Mo Salah Signs New Liverpool Deal: “We’re Not Done Yet”
Liverpool fans have every reason to celebrate — Mohamed Salah, one of the greatest players to ever wear the red shirt, has committed his future to the club by signing a new contract that runs until 2027.
The Egyptian King, who joined the Reds in 2017 from AS Roma, has become a true legend at Anfield. With 243 goals in 394 appearances, Salah now sits third on Liverpool's all-time top scorers list. His influence has been massive, helping the club to a Champions League title, a long-awaited Premier League trophy, and several other honors.
In his words after signing the new deal, Salah said:
“I’m very happy to continue at a club that means so much to me. We’ve achieved great things together, but I believe we can do even more. The squad is strong, the fans are incredible — we’re not done yet.”
The new deal, reportedly worth £400,000 per week including bonuses, makes Salah one of the highest-paid players in the Premier League. And it’s well-deserved — this season alone, he’s scored 32 goals and provided 22 assists in 45 games, leading the Premier League scoring charts with 27 goals.
There were rumors of a big-money move to Saudi Arabia, but Salah made it clear that his heart remains with Liverpool. His hunger for success hasn’t faded — he’s still dreaming big, aiming for more trophies and even eyeing the Ballon d’Or.
New Liverpool manager Arne Slot praised Salah’s loyalty and ambition, calling him a “leader on and off the pitch.” Club directors also hailed the deal as a major statement of intent for the future.
With Salah staying, Liverpool's future looks bright. The journey continues, and fans will be hoping for more magical moments from their number 11.
