Football fans all over the world are eagerly counting down to the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, which promises to be the biggest edition yet! Set to take place in the United States from June 14 to July 13, this year's tournament will feature 32 of the best football clubs from across the globe.


This is the first time the FIFA Club World Cup will be played in this new expanded format, similar to the FIFA World Cup for national teams. The 32 clubs have been divided into 8 groups (Group A to Group H), with 4 teams in each group.

Tournament Format

The format is simple and competitive:

Each team will play the others in their group once (3 matches per team).

The top 2 teams from each group will advance to the Round of 16.

From there, it’s a straight knockout format: Round of 16 → Quarterfinals → Semifinals → Final.


The final will be held on July 13, 2025, at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
